Jacques de Villiers het sedert sy debuutalbum in 2013 diep spore in die Afrikaanse musieklandskap getrap. Met vier albums en verskeie toekennings – insluitend Ghoemas, 'n Tempo, 'n Woordfees- en 'n SAMA-toekenning – het sy musiek duisende aanhangers oor die afgelope dekade geraak.

Hy het Jazz Klavier aan TUT studeer en verwerk soms jazz-elemente in sy optredes. In 2024 het hy ook 'n nuwe alternatiewe rockprojek, JNDR Seuns van Vlug, begin – met die eerste musiek wat in Maart 2025 verskyn.
